Totalia Open House on printing and finishing products was held from 20 to 22 October 2009 in the Parsian Evin Hotel. In this Open House our main focus was on the presentation of professional finishing products. We presented our products with different suppliers such as Duplo perfect binder, JBI punching and the wire-O machines, Foliant laminating machines, Multigraf creasing and folding machines, wide range of EBA guillotine and paper shredder machines and numbering machine.
This Open House was a good chance for printing houses and publishers to get to know Totalia professional machines and to be familiar with their practical details. These machines increase the product speed and decrease the energy consumption and wastage; moreover, they have occupied less space. In this exhibition, Totalia presented Duplo new duplicator machines, hot melt perfect binders and collators, EBA guillotines and paper shredder machines for the book publishers. Meanwhile Duplo DPB-500 was presented as a new prefect binder.
On the evening of 21th October, a conference was also organized in the Parsian Evin Hotel to help the guests to know more about Totalia products. The head of Bookbinders Union, Mr. Jalil Ghafari Rahbar, was one of the lecturers of the conference. He said that nowadays, different jobs such as foil stamping and laminating which have been developed in print finishing, are dependent to specific machines and products and that the biggest problem in printing and finishing is the supply of suitable machines to be replaced with the worn out machines.The problem with the supply of the purse is the other obstacle that printing units encounter for their development. “I hope that the esteemed managers of Totalia Co., which encompass a wide range of worthy experience in providing their consumer’s opinion, would be successful in supporting the entrepreneur of printing and finishing industry, with their appropriate price and with the presentation of in demand and desirable products“ He added.
The second lecturer of the conference was Mr. Mostafa Tina-ye Tehrani, the deputy of Tehran Print House Owner's Union. First, he mentioned the earliest date of the print industry in Iran, and according to the generosity week, he talked about the importance of appreciating the celebrants of Totalia dedicated exhibition. Then he commemorated the blessed memories of Mohsen Etedal and Haj Mohamad Etedal, the founders of Totalia Co., and also Morteza Nouriani, the founder of Iran print industry. He also added that the introduction of suitable machines and technology, which are relevant to printing and finishing industry, deserves appreciation.
Some well-known guests were presented in this conference such as: Mr. Jalal Zokaei the head of the printing & publishing office of the Ministry of Culture & Islamic Guidance, the deputy of Tehran Print House Owner's Union, the head of printing house owner's Union in Razavi Khorasan Province, the head of printing house owner's Union in East Azarbaijan Province,
The authorities of Binder’s and Lithographers Union in Tehran, The head of Binder’s and Lithographers Union in Tehran. Also, a great number of managements of binding and printing units of Tehran and other cities were presented among the guests of Totalia Co. such as: Fararang Arya Print & Packaging Co., Megaps Co., Eghbal Co., Faranegar Co., Giti Press in Hamedan, and some of the managements of technical offices and print service centers. At this event, the represantatives of some foreign companies such as Duplo, JBI, Multigraf, and also Foliant, presented their products with further information.
